A story book theme was created for the Seneca Park Zoo Society's annual Zoobilation event. The nightime event was hosted at the zoo, copywriter Jonathan Everittwrote a story around the idea that the animals at the zoo have another life when the rest of us are sound asleep.

When the last gate locked at the Zoo one night, And the zoo keeper called it a day, And the moon rose high, And the crickets chirped, All the beasts came out to play.
Oh, the elephant new how to blow a horn, And the lions could sing just fine, And the monkeys served up Some delicious treats While a gator poured the wine.
So the party raged for the beasts uncaged, Till they almost saw the dawn, Then they called it a night, And swept up the debris, And let out a happy yawn.
If you ever slip out of the house at night, And sneak up to the gates of the zoo, You might see a flicker, Or hear the faint jazz, Of a partying, wild crew.
